Major General Ehab Salem occupies the position of the assistant to the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for financial affairs and investment. Mr. Salem has more than 25 years of experience in the financial and administrative affairs field, Mr. Salem also occupies other roles; he is the general Supervisor of the Tourism and Antiquities Support Fund, and a board member of several institutions including; the Supreme Council of Antiquities, the Tourism and Antiquities Support Fund, Konouz Egypt Replica Treasures, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, and the Investment Zone of Arabia Holding Company for Urban Development and Regeneration (Sun Capital).

Throughout his career, Mr. Salem completed several courses including; courses of Leaders Preparation, Crisis Management, Financial and Administrative Affairs, and Income Taxes.

Mr. Salem holds the Order of Merit of the Second Class and Medal for Long Military Service in the State.
